I'm proud to work as a professional communicator at Mizzou in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. At Mizzou, I earned my master's degree in education, and I also taught as an adjunct faculty member for 4 years.
As a current Toastmaster's member, I credit my local Downtown Toastmasters club with strengthening my public speaking abilities since I joined in 2012. If you're in the Columbia, Missouri, area, I invite you to visit our Thursday lunch meeting as a guest! I earned the Advanced Communicator Bronze Award in 2016, but I know I'm only at the beginning of my speaking career.
I enjoy speaking to community and church groups, women's retreats and leadership seminars, university classes and conference participants. If you're interested in having me speak at your event, please message me on LinkedIn, through social media: Twitter and Facebook, or via my contact form.
INFJ: I'm a people-oriented visionary who values compassion and the common good. Concerned with helping others develop, I hold deep beliefs. I enjoy communicating through writing and speaking.
I focus on the inner world of ideas, words and individual possibilities.

I'm active in my church, Broadway Christian Church.
I'm known for drinking too much tea. My grandfather was from England so I consider it my duty to keep the tradition going.
I like to say thank you.
I also like to take personality tests, apparently!
